The Birth Doula Certification program prepares you to support families before, during, and immediately after birth. You begin with flexible online lessons covering the birth doula role, labor support skills, and professional practice. You then complete required fieldwork, applying what you learned alongside real families, before submitting documentation for certification review.
Two things happen in order. First the online learning phase, which you fit around the rest of your life. Then fieldwork with real families, which is where the learning settles into skill.
