American Doula Academy is an independent company. We are not a college, university, government agency, or medical provider.
Doulas provide non-clinical informational, physical, and emotional support. Course content does not constitute medical advice and does not replace care from licensed healthcare professionals.

What our training does not promise
We want you to make this decision with clear expectations, so we would rather be direct about the limits of what any course can do.
No guarantee of certification
Enrolling in or completing coursework does not by itself guarantee that you will be certified.
No guarantee of employment
We do not promise a job, a placement, clients, or referrals to anyone who studies with us.
No guarantee of income
Nothing on this website should be read as a promise of earnings. What a doula earns depends on many factors outside our control.
No guarantee of Medicaid enrollment
We cannot promise Medicaid enrollment, payer approval, or reimbursement. Those decisions belong to the relevant agencies and payers.
